Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a leader to manage a team of highly performing diverse individuals with cross functional skills in Baltimore, MD. The individual will be responsible for managing a team that designs and certifies factory test equipment to test prime mission equipment for airborne electronic systems applications.
This position requires a blend of Hardware and Software skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex electronic systems. In this role, the candidate will interface with various other engineers, technicians, systems administrators, program managers, security team, and vendors in order to provide support for various system bench tasks as required. Position focuses on the full design cycle from conception through design to fabrication and integration/test. Position may require some travel.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of related engineering experience with bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of related experience with a Master'sMinimum 1 year of experience leading a team preferably as a Function Manager.Current Active Secret (or higher) clearance with ability to obtain a SAP (special access program) clearanceBasic understanding of RF, Digital or Power electronicsBasic understanding of the Design, Manufacturing and Test processBasic understanding of a functional management roleDemonstrated leadership including team building and navigation, technical and inter-personal problem resolution, and mentoringAble to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changePreferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Engineering Leadership, or equivalentTechnical Leadership experience on a program managing scope and engineering resourcesExperience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, or other demonstrated leadership role to a program officeExperience in test automation design and test equipmentClear understanding of Earned Value and SPI/CPI in determining the critical path of a project, EAC and experience preparing workload forecastsCurrent SAP ClearanceSalary Range: $149,400.00 - $224,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
