About the RoleThis is a high-impact, strategic role to lead supply chain transformation across production, supply, distribution, and procurement planning. The role focuses on driving automation, digitization, and standardization to enable a responsive and intelligent planning ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders, influence CXO-level decisions, and be a key enabler of the organization’s digital supply chain ambition.
Key Responsibilities Transformation StrategyDefine planning transformation vision and roadmap aligned to growth and efficiency goals
Translate strategic objectives into project charters with milestones and ROI metrics
Act as advisor to leadership on supply chain digital maturity
Planning Process Automation & System ImplementationDrive automation in production, supply, distribution, and procurement planning
Implement simulation capabilities and digital twins for scenario modeling
Enable S&OP/IBP frameworks and integrate planning across functions
Lead deployment of tools for safety stock optimization, PR/PO automation, and supplier collaboration
Integrated Planning & Technology EnablementLead design and implementation of integrated planning platforms (e.g., o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis)
Ensure system readiness via accurate data, strong process documentation, and change enablement
Collaborate with IT to define data architecture, APIs, and ERP integrations
Champion master data governance across planning parameters
Stakeholder Management & Capability BuildingInfluence internal and global stakeholders across supply chain, business, and IT
Create digital training programs, SOPs, and planner upskilling initiatives
Lead UAT, system rollouts, and knowledge transfer sessions
Program Management & Continuous ImprovementLead cross-functional transformation projects using Agile/Waterfall
Monitor project health, budget adherence, and post go-live KPIs
Establish performance dashboards and continuous improvement mechanisms
Qualifications & ExperienceB.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering
MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations from a reputed institute
12–18 years of total experience with at least 5 years in digital planning or transformation roles
Preferred certifications: APICS (CPIM/CSCP), PMP, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
Desired ProfileDomain Exposure: Strong background in supply chain transformation or consulting for large enterprises
Tools & Platforms: Hands-on with o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Blue Yonder
Analytics & BI: Skilled in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP BO
Industries: Experience in FMCG, Retail, or CPG sectors preferred
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership
