The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing software development teams. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving technical innovation, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training. + 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on software engineering. + 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects. + Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies. + Strong Agile practice experience with Scrum and DevOps. + Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Scrum methodologies. + Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities **WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON** As a Software Engineering Manager, your primary role on the team will be to lead our Converse Integration India Technology Center (ITC) based squad members. You will help coach the team to design, deliver, maintain, support and optimize our technology. You will help ensure we are delivering performant, scalable, extensible and sustainable solutions by being hands-on, providing technical direction and ensuring detailed solution documentation.
