The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. Within USCM, the Marketing Analytics & Investment Services team (MA&IS) delivers data-driven decision making, analytics & business planning to drive profitable growth through personalization strategy and optimized investment decisions.

Manager of Data Analytics, Customer Inbound Channel Targeting & Analytics as part of MA&IS team will contribute to inbound channel (Phone, Chat, American Express Website & Mobile Application) marketing analytics and channel targeting strategies for US Consumer Customer Growth portfolio. This Manager will have a significant role in delivering on existing customer marketing and engagement roadmap to accelerate revenue growth through innovative targeting solutions, drive investment efficiency and steer test & learn agenda to elevate customer experience with key focus on American Expresses digital channels, in close partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise.

This role is uniquely positioned to leverage a variety of skills including strategy, campaign design & testing, data-driven insights, forecasting & planning, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual who has demonstrated sound analytical thinking, and the ability to innovate on transformational marketing & targeting approaches.

 How will you make an impact in this role?

Develop strong relationship with internal marketing partners to understand and help frame key business problems Drive incremental revenue by scaling spend and lend treatments through targeting customers at the right time with right offer by continuously intercepting the relevant customer behavior signals in our rich data sources Enhance economic optimization framework with focus on increasing short-term and long-term revenue while optimizing cost through customer level ROI driven targeting Conduct strategic analyses to inform business decisions and provide actionable recommendations. Write and present fact-based presentations to key partners Manage BAU campaign targeting, experimental design, results read, etc. across the entire US consumer portfolio Point of Contact on customer acquisition campaigns for marketing channels

 Qualifications

Advanced degree in a statistics/business/economics/decision science related field highly preferred. Experience with using analytics to drive business results is preferred. Strong quantitative skills with a solid understanding of probability and statistics Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R, or the equivalent), and experience with databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent) is a must Basic understanding of working with very large datasets using Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or the equivalent) or modeling experience Understanding of experimental test design in campaign marketing Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into analytical problem, leverage external thinking and tools to deliver business insights Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously Strong communications and relationship building skills with an ability to develop and deliver effective presentations

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
