**Summary:**
This position provides strategic and tactical leadership to the organization by analyzing, processing and interpreting client data in support of the sales and operations processes. Expertise and work efforts are focused on the analysis of the client’s business goals, objectives and needs and the general business environment. This person must possess the ability to perform data analysis with regard to client requests. Ability to set up data delivery to multiple data recipients. Understanding the analysis requirements from internal or external customers and executing on those requirements is critical. Candidate must understand relational database management (RDBMS) as well as have the required experience with SQL and Excel. In addition, this individual would have the ability to function both independently and within a group. The ideal candidate will be very attentive to detail and perform with a high degree of accuracy. This position requires flexibility to handle a variety of tasks at one time and strong initiative.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Ensures the quality and on-time delivery of databases.
+ Create ad hoc and standard reports using Microsoft SQL Server for different functional areas of the company.
+ Assess reporting results through data investigation, analysis, and evaluation
+ Analyzes complex business questions and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide feedback to decision-makers with a full understanding of area of specialization.
+ Facilitates continuous improvement of database reference and transaction files.
+ Performs ongoing analysis and implement improvements to production processes and systems.
+ Participates in the development of strategic plans to improve infrastructure and expand capabilities of the database operations.
+ Monitors monthly expenses and completes forecasts and annual budget exercises for an annual budget of ~ $1.1M.
+ Directly manages a staff for panel management, data coding, and data verification for the databases.
+ Allocates temporary staff as needed.
+ Coordinates project tasks with marketing and other departments.
+ Develops and maintains performance measurement systems.
+ Facilitates technical and professional development of permanent and temporary staff.
+ Maintains effective communication with commercial, operations, and other key functional to ensure continuous improvement of all client deliverables and internal processes.
+ May develop and maintain relationships with vendors as needed for direct mail efforts, document imaging, archival storage, etc.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or 5 -7 years of experience.
+ Five (5) years’ experience managing a large staff in a production environment.
+ Hands on experience with data and data queries, data processing/data transformations, data integration scenarios.
+ 5-10 years’ current & continuous experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
+ 3+ years’ current & continuous experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus.
+ Knowledge of statistical software a plus.
+ Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLookups, etc.).
+ Shell scripting (on Windows platform).
+ Familiarity with SalesForce is a plus.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in current software tools.
+ Previous experience with pharmaceutical product promotion is desired.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $94,200.00 - $175,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
