About the role:
The Incumbent will primarily be responsible for the delivery of functions related to Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Review, and Analysis. This position will also be responsible for supporting critical business initiatives and providing operational accounting support as part of a world-class business service organization.

How will you make an impact in this role?

·       Responsible for Review, Analysis and Reporting of AXP and Segment Balance Sheet. Ideate and implement data-driven business insights

·       Sustain enterprise-wide Balance Sheet health while remaining focused on efficiency and sustaining financial integrity for the company

Lead with Innovation by effective use of contemporary technology & State of the Art Business Process. Identify repeatable & automatable processes.

·       Audit & regulatory support: Statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits and SOX Testing

Responsible for and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLA), internal guidelines, accounting policies and regulatory requirements

·       Support / participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives.

·       Collaborate with key stakeholders - Account Owners, Regulators and Entity/Segment Controllers

·       Ensure controls & compliance with prevailing policies & procedures such as SOX, Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA), etc.

Ensure that all timelines are continually met, and adequate controls are maintained over the processes to ensure integrity of the informationContinuously challenge the Status Quo and seek opportunity for redesign,Ability to work across multiple time zones

Skills and Qualifications:

CA / CPA with 5-10 years of validated experience or Postgraduate in Commerce with 8-10 years of experience or Graduate with 10-15 years of experienceUnderstanding of financial statement & balance sheet reporting & analysisUnderstanding of end to end AR/AP process flow, accounting & reconciliationAbility to connect accounting & reportingSEC/legal entity/regulatory/ segment reporting & analysisKnowledge of accounting guidelinesUnderstanding of operational, SOX & other related control framework compliance

 

Platforms Knowledge:

Knowledge of US GAAP/Local GAAP/IFRS (Reporting knowledge)Analytical skills with the ability to undertake cause effect analysisKnowledge of financial systems such Oracle, Intellisuite, OBIEE, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR) etc.Basic understanding & appreciation of automation capabilitiesKnowledge of financial systemsMS office suits such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
