ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager – Commercial is responsible for coordinating with buyers as well as supporting purchases for MAF Retail. The role holder is also responsible for assisting with selection and examining products that get to store shelves, in catalogues, and online.

ROLE PROFILE

Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and supply chain efficiency.Lead the issuance of tenders and RFQs in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Apply advanced negotiation techniques to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms with suppliers.Identify, evaluate, and nurture relationships with profitable suppliers to build long-term strategic partnerships.Utilize data analysis to minimize shortages and overstocking, enhancing procurement performance and control.Ensure compliance with quality standards through regular supplier audits and proactive issue resolution.Maintain strong communication with internal teams, especially Sales Development, to align sourcing with business needs.Monitor procurement spending and foster a culture of sustainable cost-saving initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.5–7 years of experience in a similar commercial or sourcing role & 4 years of experience in the OPSS industry is a Must.Proven experience in a managerial role is essential, with demonstrated capability in leading and motivating teams effectively.Very Good English in Preferred.Strong business communication and presentation skills.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Suite.
