This position's team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with global brand counterparts, planning and stores, VM and Marketing to deliver financial results for the TH brand. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department's operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success. The Position Key Responsibilities: • Develop outlet buying strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive outlet buying strategy aligned with global and regional brand objectives and financial targets. • Category strategy: Own EMEA category strategies, identify trends, consumer insights for the business. • Insights & briefs: Provide insights and briefs for exclusive requests, attend Global Line Preview, and collaborate with Global Product Kitchen and EMEA Planning. • Buying process: Manage the end-to-end buying process, including providing input to the global Merchandizing team, line planning / selection (incl. store ranging), buy quantification, and pricing, promo, and markdown strategies (within global guidelines). • Assortment & range: Build regional assortment and manage range CCs, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial targets. Influence the Global must buy assortment to drive alignment on the product offer while respecting local Kidswear product needs and legal requirements to ensure clear and segmented offer from the full price business. • Collaboration: Collaborate with global Merchandizing, design, planning, marketing, and retail teams to ensure cohesive product offerings that drive sales, • Investment & buy reviews: Conduct Investment and buy reviews, ensuring financial targets are met. • Sales plans: Build comprehensive sales plans at style, Product group, and divisional level to meet brand targets an align with the broader business goals. • Tiering strategies: Define and implement store tiering strategies for stores based on capacity, sales plans, and grading, ensuring optimized performance and product availability. • Sales & performance: Drive CTB sales, margin performance targets and partner with cross-functional regional leaders to navigate day to day business: e.g., Planning, Stores, Sales, Marketing etc. • Business reviews: Conduct quarterly, monthly, and weekly business reviews with the MSW buying team to assess the effectiveness of buying strategies in-season and make data-driven adjustments as needed to drive sales and margin. • Team leadership: Lead and mentor the team, providing clear guidance, support, and direction to help them succeed in their roles and deliver on their responsibilities Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization. Measures of Success • Product selection and trend responsiveness: High levels of assortment success including sell out performance of new collections, speed to market for new trends, exclusive product performance. • Sales & profitability performance: High ROI per product category, sell through rate and average unit retail. • Stock efficiency: high levels of stock turnover rate, weeks of supply and stock to sales ratio, Range & option count, sell through rate, net sales and inventory levels. Requirements • 7-10 years of experience in buying or merchandising, with Kidswear or outlet channel experience preferred • Proven ability to plan, buy, and manage assortments in line with financial and brand goals • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to draw insights from data to make sound business decisions • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in leading discussions with internal stakeholders at various levels • Team-oriented with demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing direct reports for at least 5 years • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment • Proficient in Excel and planning tools; strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Fluent in English (verbal and written) • Willingness to travel as required for market visits, store walkthroughs, and trade meetings At PVH, how we act is as important as what we do.
