The Manager Buying for Cytiva is responsible for capturing all requirements for direct and indirect materials, create and communicate purchase orders and ensure supply at the right time.

This position is part of the Planning & Buying Team located in Medemblik and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. The position can be filled part-time (80%).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Manage the Buyers and Buying Support Associates in the Buying teamLead, delegate or support projects from buying perspectiveSupport operational buying processAct as a backup for the Manager Planning & BuyingBe responsible for KPI’s like supplier OTIF, supplier past due, InventoryAct as a subject matter expert in ERP (SAP) for the buying modulesUse DBS to continuously improve the buying processes

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other relevant educationAt least 5 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain/procurement positionExperience in people coachingExcellent command of the Dutch and English language

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

ERP (SAP) knowledgeNEVI certification or other procurement/supply chain certificatesAdvanced MS Office skills and experience in using reporting tools such as Qliksense or BI
