This person is responsible for consulting with Finance partners in order to evaluate and recommend financial technology solutions that will facilitate the accomplishment of the business goals. Analyzes the business strategy, operations, and current technology architecture in order to develop options for new technologies that will optimize the company's financial functions and business processes. Provides consultation regarding solutions planning, impact analysis, risk assessment, and budgeting. May provide financial analysis to determine ROI/ROA of proposed solutions. Updates and improves end user training manual covering credit, accounts receivable, including collections and disputes, and cash applications processes. Conducts new hire training and refresher training for established users on Oracle system, other related applications, and third-party software and service providers. Establishes, trains, and leads financial services power users group, which serve as front-line troubleshooters for end users to ascertain root cause of issues, including process, training, or technical and system to facilitate quicker resolution with user and information technology. Works with acquisitions and other projects during implementation phase to ensure smooth transitions for both systems and processes. Acts as key functional and technical liason with key financial services third-parties, including Experian, Credit Risk Monitor, and Bill trust. Researches, learns, and facilitates enhancements to Oracle and other key financial services systems. Develops business cases for quality assurance testing. Ensures implementation of changes or new products meet business requirements. Conducts functional, and technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with development and design team members. Conducts LEAN initiatives focused on standardized processes company-wide and supporting process infrastructure. Creates quick reference guides for completed projects to support on-groing training and learning.
Experience:
3 years of Oracle EBS applications, including AR, credit management, and advanced collections required, 5 years preferred. 3 years of credit, including analysis of customer financial data and third-party credit agency information, and collection required, 5 years preferred. 3 years of computer system applications, Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, Experian, including customer financial data or equivalent required, 5 years preferred. 2 years of project management experience required, 4 years preferredEducation:
