We are looking for a **Business Development Manager** for Refrigeration who will be responsible for developing refrigeration solutions through installers and subcontractors acting between wholesalers and end-users in the food distribution sector.
You will promote Copeland refrigeration solutions to increase brand and product awareness among refrigeration installers while providing technical expertise.
**Key responsibilities of the role:**
+ Coordinate actions and programs with the Refrigeration Sales team in France.
+ Identify and develop new initiatives to expand our customer base, gain market share, and maximize revenue from new projects.
+ Understand market dynamics and needs: analyze market needs and trends, build business cases, participate in competitive intelligence, etc.
+ Develop and mentor market actors' teams to retain these customers and enhance brand and product awareness. Provide information to marketing, engineering, and sales regarding customer needs for new product development, product revisions, and new or revised service or training offerings.
+ Actively visit customers to promote Copeland Refrigeration solutions.
+ Provide product and application training to refrigeration subcontractors/installers as needed and effectively engage in the sales process, presenting product strategies and messages. Offer technical, product, and application support to subcontractors and installers as needed.
+ Monitor the competitive landscape; provide tactical sales support in competitive situations; communicate competitor information to management to help shape evolving strategies.
**Required qualifications and experience:**
+ Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in sales/channel management for installers.
+ A technical degree in refrigeration is a plus.
+ Sophisticated skills in sales, negotiation, and presentation.
+ Creativity and dynamism.
+ Ability to communicate internally in English (minimum level C1 or B2).
+ Able to travel 3 days a week across France.
**Preferred qualifications and experience** :
+ Past experience in a matrix organization.
+ Proficiency in English.
