Reporting directly to the Director of Global Wealth and Asset Management and General Account (GWAM & GA) Finance group, the role is accountable for the GWAM & GA Finance – Accounting & Reporting for WAM AUM Team primarily supporting the Datalake.
Position Responsibilities:
Operational Support
Manage the team's daily operations to promote efficiency and team effectiveness.Strategically manage additional requirements for the Datalake project from various teams.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.Monitor, coordinate, and ensure resolution of all issues and concerns raised.Proactively manage and monitor control efficacy to minimize potential risks.Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to management and business units in a timely manner.Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.Leadership/Management
Drives the team in achieving its organizational goals and objectives.Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.Strategizes in terms of the direction and identification of opportunities for team growth and development.Leads the regular business reviews and produces dashboards and metrics reports detailing the team’s performance, challenges and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
University Business Degree and/or recognized accounting designation5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projectsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.Background on Wealth Asset Management business is a plus.3+ years of people management and with strong leadership experienceExperience working with senior management teams (stakeholder management requiring persuasion/influencing skills)Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Strong oral and written communication skills required to interact with senior officers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departmentsPreferred Qualifications:
