Manager / Asst. Manager Sales – South

Job Summary:   

If you are an Out Sales professional, Emerson has an exciting offer to you! You will be a part of sales team and look after increase in order booking for Emerson Actuation Technologies products in south region by focusing on End users from Oil & Gas, Power, Metal & Mining Sugar industry sector, Valve OEM.  

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:   

Responsible for growing and building relationships with customers from South Of India including, Karnataka, Andhra, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Telangana asper assigned accounts to increase ACT products and solutions business volume  Meet set Booking Targets, Gross Profit and Goals for the respective FY Set Strategy for business growth, implement and drive result.  Own assigned Valve OEM & Interco accounts from South of India to lead and win Projects Engage early with the End users and/or engineering consultants in the FEED / Planning phase of projects to drive preference for ACT through influencing specifications, technology and solutions differentiation messaging.  Work closely with Emerson multi-BU India organization to create more opportunities to win and capture installed base.  The product’s focus would be to sell Biffi, Bettis, EIM, Rack & Pinion (brand name such as Bettis, Hytork etc) with complete (VOS) Valve operating system & Emerson make Gear Boxes  Expand customers coverage by identifying new customers and new applications with existing customers.  Promote and drive new products and solutions to end users.  Support end users for their Outage, Plant level, and replacement opportunity.  Map and increase installed base of ACT products in the region.  Focus on Water Treatment, Sewerage treatment, irrigation projects in your region & promote ACT products especially electrical actuators and gear boxes.  Any additional work which is not defined above but required for completing job responsibilities.  

Who You Are: 

You quickly and decisively act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You Prior experience working with government entities is must E,g. EIL, IOCL, GAIL, IGL, NTPC, NPCIL, etc. Prior experience working knowledge in valves and actuators industry will be preferable. Disciplined financial reporting is a must. Commit and own monthly, quarterly and yearly booking numbers in line with target. Works with our quality team to process any warranty claims from customers that occur during the service of ACT products.

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering / Science discipline with 12-15 years of relevant experience for Manager and 8-10 years for assistance manager of directly selling in the process Automation Industry and On Off Valves industry Strong knowledge and experience with End Users, Engineering Consultants and VOEMs
