We are looking for your talent, join our team and start your journey today! **Title:** Manufacturing Engineering Manager **Business Platform:** Electronics & Controls **Business Unit:** Comfort Controls **Location:** Juarez, Chihuahua, México **Reports to:** Plant Manager **Job Description** Oversee the daily operations of a production facility, ensuring efficient production, high-quality products, and adherence to safety and budget standards. Key responsibilities include managing staff, developing production schedules, maintaining equipment, collaborating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and lean principles. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to optimize workflows and meet customer demands. **Job Responsibilities** · The Manufacturing Engineering Manager ensures that assembly operations are executed in the most productive and cost efficient manner. · Assist and supports the Business Unit Managers and their Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers on Special Projects, Polices, Procedures and Staffing. · This position is also responsible for the administration and control of all Assets at Termocontroles plus the Capital Budgeting and AR spending · Management, training and Control of the Tool Room is also the included in this responsibility ices. · Develops, monitors and implements cost reduction projects related to the Manufacturing Department. · Identifies capital needs to support projects for NPI, equipment upgrades, safety and cost reduction initiatives. · Provides support and guidance to support changes, new product introductions and lean automation · Within this function, the position holder works with; Product Engineering, Procurement, Materials, Quality, Finance, Customs, Sales and Marketing to efficient and timely implementation of projects and changes. · This responsibility requires the position holder to establish manufacturing assembly methods, equipment and tooling for new products. · Responsible for leading technology integration: implementation of advanced technologies, including automation and robotics, to the production process. · Responsible for the investigation and proposal of alternate and improved methods of assembly. · Responsible for complying and developing documentation in accordance with WRAPS and MMX requirements. · Responsible for providing support to Manufacturing Engineers and others on new equipment introductions and Process Equipment Modifications · To comply with ISO 9001-2015 requirements; this applies to all functions in the facility. · Responsible for communicating problems or opportunities to their supervisor. · Responsible for complying with all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environment, and for ensuring that all necessary resources to do so are available. · For positions with personnel under their supervision, responsible for ensuring that subordinates comply with the Company's policies, procedures, and regulations. · Performs other assigned duties as required. **Basic Qualifications** · BSME or equivalent along with complex equipment fixture design experience. · Project Management (PMI tools) · Lean Champion / Six Sigma · Manufacturing Assembly experience and HVAC equipment and systems experience. · Bilingual (English-Spanish). · 6 years in similar position as manager. · Expert in Problem solving using analytical methods. · Experience in fabrication; winding, stamping, machining, molding and welding. · Builds networks & builds effective teams · Experience in strategic planning. **Must** The ability to implement and maintain improvement initiatives like process development, Lean and Six Sigma, eliminating waste, reducing cost and increasing output. **Preferred Qualifications** · Master’s degree · Knowledge of programming languages such LabVIEW, C++, Visual Basic and PLC. **Required Competencies** Manufacturing Managers need strong leadership, technical knowledge of processes and systems, and excellent communication skills to manage teams and processes effectively. Key skills include problem-solving technics, strategic planning, and organizational skills to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Proficiency with PMC and continuous improvement methods like Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma is also crucial. **Leadership & Team Manage** ment · Motivation: Ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. · Collaboration: Fostering teamwork and building positive relationships within the workforce. · Empathetic Leadership: Understanding and addressing the needs of the team to improve performance. · Diversity & Inclusion: Promoting a diverse, inclusive, and people-centric work environment. **Technical & Process Skills** · Manufacturing Processes: In-depth understanding of production processes and equipment development. · Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma: Knowledge and application of continuous improvement principles. · Quality Control: Expertise in quality procedures, standards, and management systems. · Data Analysis: Ability to analyze production data to gain insights and make informed decisions. **Onsite Work Arrangement:** This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
