Responsibilities

Join IGT's dynamic accounting team in Providence, RI (hybrid) as a Senior Manager, Lottery Accounting. This role offers a rare opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to contribute significantly to our expanding controllership team. We are seeking a candidate who values longevity, collaboration, and technical expertise, and who is eager to develop a long-term career within our organization.


As a Senior Manager, Lottery Accounting, you will report to the Americas Controller and play a pivotal role in daily lottery accounting operations, month and quarter-end close, and reporting. You will have a unique opportunity to develop and strengthen processes related to the accounting for new and growing lottery business lines. You will be instrumental in managing and implementing projects, fostering process improvements, and ensuring high-quality work within the department. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

Instrumental in day-to-day accounting operations, including general accounting, revenue recognition, month-end close, cash flow management, account reconciliations, and reporting. Ensuring transactions comply with company policies, US GAAP, and IFRS. Uphold and enhance internal control activities and processes. Supporting monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis for management reporting. Assisting the Corporate Financial Reporting group with quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures under US GAAP and IFRS, as applicable. Streamlining and enhancing processes and internal controls. Participating in internal and external audits, providing documentation, and responding to queries. Engaging in ad hoc reporting and projects to support the Americas controllership. Embrace additional responsibilities as needed to meet business objectives. Potential for role expansion in the future, including but not limited to supervisory responsibilities Qualifications Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional units and organizational levels. Strong financial and analytical skills. Commitment to process improvement, transparency, and high-quality work. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Highly motivated and results-oriented, with the initiative to thrive in a diverse organization. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Well versed in US GAAP accounting concepts and able to successfully apply those concepts to specific transactions. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in public accounting. CPA certification Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in accounting

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000
. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
