About the role
We're looking for someone to join our team as a Commercial Manager – Healthcare Services on a full time, fixed-term basis. This is your opportunity to join the Healthcare Business Unit at an exciting time where the services we offer are extending and expanding. We are looking for someone with commercial awareness, and the initiative to drive existing nationally commissioned NHS services, whilst building the future through maximising new opportunities. We are looking for a leader who will creatively seek new opportunities, and ways of working, to help more of our customers benefit from potentially life changing services.
You will oversee the customer offer for a variety of nationally commissioned services predominantly across England, delighting customers and leading the delivery of commercial goals within a wider Healthcare Services team whilst inspiring a small team of Commercial Specialists to deliver applicable work programmes with focus and pace.
You will become a subject matter expert on each of the services to enhance the future customer experience and our performance, maximising our delivery in this area.
Key responsibilities
You will work with several different functions across the business, including the Superintendent Pharmacist's Office, Pharmacy Operations, Finance, E-commerce, Supply Chain and Marketing functions. As such, the ability collaborate is necessary for this role. You will also hold external relationships and reflect the brand to a high standard.
• Ownership and responsibility in leading the continual improvement, as well as development and implementation of nationally commissioned services, supported by a range of resources
• You will analyse and understand our performance, and collaboratively work as part of a team within Healthcare Services to create plans
• You will acquire and review customer and colleague feedback on services we offer and how we deliver them
• You will build rapport with a whole range of people inside and outside of the business, and supporting how we communicate directly with our patients and other users of our services
• You will work with team members in stores and in the field to ensure teams are supported in the delivery of our pharmacy services, and performance insights are available and shared to bring enhanced provision of care to our patients through services
• You will work in a dynamic setting with multiple obligations, but it is necessary to maintain quality outputs, and a precise focus on accurate detail
What you'll need to have
• You can demonstrate previous experience reviewing and analysing data, market information, customer needs and competitor insights, and turning this analysis into actions
• You exemplify commercial knowledge, with a desire to build upon this within the job
• Have experience setting up and leading specific projects – alongside solving complex problems
• We're looking for someone who can change according to the demands of an agile working environment
• Ability to engage with multiple colleagues across the business, and lead a team to complete work to a high standard and at pace
• The ability to partner collaboratively with team members across the business and at different levels
It would be great if you also have
• Experience of working with external stakeholders in a healthcare context
• Previous Line Management experience
