**Overview**
Quickbooks Capital is a leading Lending platform for small businesses. We empower millions of customers around the world to meet their cash flow needs. We're looking for an Engineering Leader who will lead our capital experiences organization and the teams that work on our Term Loan, Line of credit products and a portfolio of supporting services and experiences.
You will lead an organization of more than 15 team members through both technical leaders and Early career talent engineers. You will mentor and grow your team, set the vision and success metrics for the organization and be accountable for critical deliverables that drive improving customer benefits and business outcomes. As part of a cross functional product team, you will work closely with Product Management and Experience Design, as well as other engineering leaders within Tech Ecosystem and QuickBooks .
We are looking for experienced leaders who have a background that includes deep technical experience grounded in previous years of hand-on development in high scale, highly available systems that achieved outstanding levels of operational excellence and who has taken those learnings and applied them at scale in their organization.

**What you'll bring**
+ You have a passion for creating great products, delivering results, and developing leaders and engineers.
+ You have 5+ years of experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams, and other leaders, that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products.
+ You have 5+ years experience with Web Technologies, specifically Javascript and React
+ You have 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
+ You collaborate consistently with the product and design teams.
+ You are patient, resilient, and willing to take on work even when it's challenging, ambiguous, or intense.
+ You have a desire to pursue collaboration even when it introduces dissent; you value bringing diverse perspectives to the table.
+ You know how to balance efforts between planning and acting; you have a bias for speed and engineering & operational excellence.
+ You understand how to augment humility with the courage to propose, develop, and defend ideas you feel passionately about.
+ You have a commitment to increasing efficiency in the workplace by continuously reviewing and adjusting processes, org structure, tools, etc.
**How you will lead**
+ Coach Junior and senior engineers to help define their career path through challenging growth opportunities.
+ Building an engineering culture, practices and supporting tooling that engineers love and enable them to deliver the best work of their lives at high velocity and with outstanding performance, scalability and availability.
+ Become an expert in our customers and their problems and be accountable for critical initiatives and their success metrics to deliver outsized customer value and business impact.
+ Drive the next generation of our Capital Experiences and a portfolio of services & experiences that rely on it.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional product & design leads to prioritize work, identify opportunities for acceleration and innovation and propose options when challenged by constraints.
+ Participate with peers and directors to refine organizational structures to accelerate our strategy and priority initiatives.
+ Remove roadblocks from the organizations and team’s path.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area California $238,500 - $322,500
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits (https://www.intuit.com/careers/benefits/full-time-employees/) ).
