The QuickBooks Shared Experiences Team is the team that brings all products together into a cohesive and delightful experience for our customers. Beyond playing a foundational role that amplifies all QuickBooks products, this team is taking the lead in setting the QuickBooks multi-year vision and leading the transformation of a fully reimagined platform fueled by connected data, a connected suite of apps, “Done for you” AI agents, and on-demand expertise. We are seeking a talented Design Manager 2 who is passionate about solving big problems and creating exceptional experiences to lead a team of designers focused on transforming our 3rd party platform and other horizontal shared experiences. On the Shared X team, you will deliver beautiful experiences that enable small to mid-sized businesses to get the most out of the QuickBooks ecosystem via Better Together and Done for you experiences—saving them time, increasing their profitability, ultimately inspiring confidence. You will help to reimagine experiences that enable seamless 3P integrations and embedded 3P offerings in QuickBooks; and lead design for enhancing our developer portal and expanding our partner program. You will also manage a team focused on unifying and innovating our dashboard and FTU/Setup experience frameworks. You will work closely with a team of talented designers and diverse stakeholders; and have top notch story-telling, systems-thinking, interaction design skills, and expertise in data-driven design to shape how we transform our critical platform experiences. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. **What you'll bring** + 8+ years of experience in product design, with 2+ years leading a team of 4-8 designers in a larger, matrixed organization. + Experience working on platform teams, design systems, or infrastructure-level components is highly desirable. + Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels. + Strong UX craft, including interaction design, pattern architecture, and internal usability. + Proven track record of leading and delivering impactful design solutions across large and complex products and platforms. + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and influence other designers, product management, marketing, and engineering leaders to drive outcomes. + Ability to convey holistic ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping. + An online portfolio showcasing reusable UI, horizontal product thinking, and design that elevates trust. + Experience with AI-driven platforms is a plus. **How you will lead** + Leading and Growing a Design Team: Managing a team of product designers, fostering their growth, and setting design direction. + Shaping Design Strategy: Define and influence a multi-year product and UX strategy, helping to influence the direction across partner teams; aligned with Intuit's overall strategy and business goals. + Platform-approach: Models a platform mindset and thinks critically about ways to experiment, stretch, and meaningfully diverge from the system to learn and ultimately improve the system and its outcomes. Able to give feedback on other crafts. Uses industry-standard design software at an advanced level. + Leading 3P Experiences: Designing E2E, platform experiences, including integrations, embedded experiences, and partner portal. + Evolving Dashboard, FTU/Setup Experiences: Driving how we unify, innovate, and scale our platform and app level dashboard and FTU/Setup experiences.
