As a Manager, you will work with a wide range of Macquarie’s business and support groups to provide advice on APRA’s requirements including reviewing proposed new business and transactions for compliance with the relevant prudential standards. You will play a key role in supporting Macquarie’s businesses in non-financial risk matters relating to intragroup transactions, operational resilience and governance. You will provide Line 2 review and challenge in relation to frameworks that support compliance with key APRA prudential standards.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to own and take responsibility for your own pieces of work, presenting to senior stakeholders and seeing through delivery from start to finish. You will be involved in reviewing complex issues and developing meaningful insights that will asset with decision making by senior leadership.

Demonstrable financial services experience, ideally in a risk management/legal/ group treasury/compliance capacity Strong understanding of financial risk management and/or regulatory environments Ability and desire to solve bespoke problems whilst demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and curiosity to investigate Self-starter and ability to time manage and deliver your own pieces of work independently as well as strong communication skillsStrong relationship management skills, including an ability to collaborate and engage with a broad cross-section of individuals.
