What is the opportunity?

The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the required key governance oversight and delivery standards for all reconciliation activity.

Create reconciliations, investigations and reporting to meet business requirements as set-out in their change requirements

Oversee the reconciliation of Hedge Fund reconciliations, Statement uploads and reporting.

The department is dedicated to the creation and maintenance of Reconciliations, Control reporting and expanding the usage of Intellisuite capabilities to mitigate risk to the business.

Run/Develop key metric reporting to monitor and mitigate risk and oversee payment investigation sampling/quality assurance.

Act as subject matter expert and provide support for any new or ongoing projects.

What will you do?

Provide expert knowledge on Cash and Stock reconciliation and use of MIS to enable consistent approaches to best practices, service delivery and operational efficiency.

Oversee the creation of reconciliations, investigations and control reports ensuring that the business provide their business requirement via a CR and signs off UAT.

Liaise with each business line to ensure timely clearance of their outstanding and where relevant clearance and escalation of investigations.

Production of metrics for outsourced Reconciliation activities in support of monthly oversight committee meeting.

Ownership of potential loss events and near misses, including root cause analysis of event and suggested remediation as well as escalation to Senior Manager.

Provide technical expertise in the use of Intellimatch Suite functionality to the teams and business lines.

Oversee the development of relevant, timely and transparent performance metrics and appropriate communication channels for distribution including escalation reporting.

Deliver key governance oversight reporting, including break analysis (number, ageing, value at risk), exception reporting and escalation of outstanding items exceeding agreed timescales.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Strong leadership and people management skill.

Experience in effectively managing stakeholder expectations.

Critical thinking ability and a calmness in pressurized situations.

Practical experience with banking processes, investment (Securities) products.

A comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of reconciliations systems and the deliverables that the system can produce.

Nice to Have

Previous knowledge of Intellisuite system.

Working knowledge of Crystal reports.

Working knowledge of RIBS/Milvus/OLS/SWIFT.

Experience in setting service level agreements.
