Manager – Global Trade Compliance – Trusted Trader
**_Job Summary_** In general, the Trusted Trader is responsible for Cardinal Health’s Tier III CTPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) and PIP (Partners in Protection) programs and will partner with other departments to ensure Cardinal remains compliant with program requirements via training, SOP development, site reviews and audits, regular communication, business partner screenings, and other relevant activities. The Trusted Trader requires extensive knowledge of CTPAT/PIP program requirements and requires the background, experience, and leadership skills necessary to foster a culture of compliance, manage timelines, standardize processes and procedures, lead audits, implement process improvements, conduct risk assessments, and perform mitigation activities. The position requires regular, professional communication with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and internal senior leaders. The Trusted Trader must comfortably collaborate with various Cardinal Health businesses and functions as well as other business partners to ensure that all program requirements are met. This position will also support additional areas such as broker management, duty analysis, and bond sufficiency reviews as needed. This position reports to the Director, Global Trade Compliance. **_Responsibilities_** + Ensure timely filing of all Cardinal Health CTPAT and PIP security profiles annually, and that portals remain up-to-date with proper documentation, SOPs, and company information + Lead Revalidation Audits as scheduled by US Customs & Border Protection and the Canada Border Services Agency + Maintain and update all SOPs related to CTPAT, PIP, and warehouse procedures + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CTPAT and PIP requirements and related minimum security criteria, communicating changes to leadership and other appropriate parties + Perform annual CTPAT risk assessments to identify at-risk sites, suppliers, trade lanes, etc., and develop and execute corrective action plans + Collaborate with Global Security and Quality teams to ensure compliance with Minimum Security Criteria at US-based receiving locations, and provide relevant trainings to global importing and exporting locations + Perform business partner screenings of brokers, carriers, suppliers, and other supply chain partners + Conduct in-depth reviews of medium and high-risk suppliers to identify and mitigate supply chain risk, providing relevant feedback to Sourcing/Procurement regarding supplier risk areas + Serve as Global Trade primary point of contact for Third Party Risk Assessment requests, facilitating the collective Global Trade response to requests + Communicate with assigned Supply Chain Security Specialists regarding security incidents, security profile updates, etc. + Maintain working relationship with Foreign Manufacturer CTPAT sites in Canada and Mexico + Conduct on-site CTPAT audits of relevant Cardinal Health sites as required + Document and properly communicate any supply chain security incidents + Maintain collaboration and rapport with IT Risk, Security, Quality, Sourcing, and other teams relevant to the CTPAT and PIP programs + Cross train with GTC team members to achieve full understanding of import and export compliance program, standard operating procedures and work instructions, to provide coverage across multiple time zones, during team member absence, high volumes and special projects. + Point of contact to oversee Customs Broker Due Diligence and adherence to the Vendor Compliance Risk Management Policy; ensure brokers used globally have completed due diligence screenings + Regular review and monitoring of import duties paid to ensure US import bond coverage is sufficient + Other projects and duties as required or assigned **_Qualifications_** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred + 8+ years of experience with CTPAT/PIP programs and minimum security requirements preferred + Licensed Customs Broker and/or NCBFAA CCS preferred. + Strong international business experience working for large, multinational companies + Must be an independent, self-driven worker who is comfortable owning processes with minimal oversight + Proven ability to develop cross-functional relationships and drive continuous improvement + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Well organized with good time management skills to execute tasks within deadlines + Flexible and adaptable, ability to manage ambiguity, change, and uncertainty effectively + Superior MS Office skills: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word **Anticipated salary range:** $105,100 - $150,100 **Bonus eligible:** Yes **Benefits:** Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. + Medical, dental and vision coverage + Paid time off plan + Health savings account (HSA) + 401k savings plan + Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay + Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) + Short- and long-term disability coverage + Work-Life resources + Paid parental leave + Healthy lifestyle programs **Application window anticipated to close:** 9/1/25*if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
