Manager - FP&A Financial Systems

The Manager of FP&A Financial Systems will report to the VP, COG FP&A and will be responsible for managing operational functions of COG FP&A finance systems.  Responsibilities include TM1 maintenance and cycle support, TM1 built-on system maintenance and management, continuous improvement and enhancements of financial systems, requirements, UAT and deployment of financial transformation projects, and daily onsite TM1 user support.

Responsibilities:

Manages end to end process of global cycles to support FP&A deliverables and functions Embeds deeply in global FP&A cycles and understands FP&A calendar and deliverables Owns and performs processes of TM1 and associated systems (NOVA, RBA, FP&A Workstation, Dashboard, etc.) to support FP&A work and deliverables Manages global currency processes of 50+ countries to ensure that financial results are revalued properly, and collaborates with regions to accommodate their special needs Owns and performs other processes to meet important business reporting requirements, for instance, commercial segmentation, digital business reporting, DCI reclassifications, and corporate submission Designs controls and educates users for various business reporting Investigates and resolves data discrepancies TM1 controls, maintenance, and enhancements Manages and performs TM1 maintenance work including hierarchy management, reconciliation and alignments between COG central TM1, regional TM1 instances, corporate TM1, and finance dashboards fed from COG central TM1 Builds and performs effective controls to ensure TM1 data integrity Handles small scale improvement and enhancement projects in TM1 and other systems, including updates to TM1-based reporting packages Collects requirements from FP&A and DFO teams, and collaborates with Finance Transformation/IT team/external consultants for bigger scale and more complicated projects, including the transition to BAU Handles UAT, deployment and training for Home Office and Regions  Collaborates with IT team on TM1 downtime for maintenance/change deployment to minimize interruption Maintains complete and up to date documentations of TM1 processes and controls Conducts system training for new hires and new users Troubleshoots TM1 issues and acts as an onsite user support Triages, troubleshoots and resolves everyday issues  Escalates bigger issues and works with IT team to resolve them  Identifies and fixes root cause of issues 5-8 years of related experiencesFP&A in insurance background with tech-savvy mind-setProcess analysis (PA) backgroundStrong technical skills and mastery of end user applications (e.g., Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and proficiency in TM1 or similar FP&A toolStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on available information and analysisHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlinesStrong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficientlyAbility to work effectively and influence with all levels throughout a large organizationAbility to drive changes and initiativesCritical thinking skills
