Project Management Office

Manage budget, scopes, purchase orders (POs), and invoices in the BMS business systems.Maintain and update budget trackers regularly in COMPASSHandle SAP activities including invoice tracking and approval.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Finance teams, IT, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation scheduleMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesCreate and maintain project documentation, including requirements, status reports, and executive summariesSupport the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies in finance processes

Relationship management and collaboration

Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization, with Hyderabad Hub, global S&O, global Finance leadership and medical PMsBuild an external network to ensure regular exposure to new and best practices, technologies, and process governance standards Hold self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy.

Risk management  

Anticipate needs, assess and manage business risk taking; escalate issues that may impact management reporting process globally; manage through times of crisis and ambiguity

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field4-7+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years in a transformation environmentStrong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including both FP&A and Controllership functionsExperience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industryKnowledge of enterprise finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)Scrum Master or Agile certificationExperience with process automation tools and technologiesSix Sigma certification (Green Belt)Experience with shared service center transformationsExperience with Agile and traditional project management methodologiesExpert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management toolsExperience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally, especially in a highly collaborative manner and cultureExperience with global teams and/or centers of excellenceProficiency in English languageAbility and willingness to travel internationally as neededSupport Department initiatives and special projects including but not limited to: Newsletters, Lunch and Learns, Dept meetings, Offsites, as directed by S&O LeadsProject management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)Business process mapping toolsData visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) conceptsKnowledge of accounting and financial systemsUnderstanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX)Familiarity with SQL and basic programming conceptsExperience with ERP systems and financial applications

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
