ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Manager of Workload & Business Intelligence at Sephora Canada, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our dynamic retail landscape. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Independently lead monthly payroll analyses and monitor trends weekly in the Canadian market to understand opportunities and risks; provide updates to the business through key functional meetings Design and maintain dynamic business models to evaluate potential business opportunities and strategic priorities through strong partnership with key stakeholders cross functionally and cross border Prepare and upload monthly workforce planning data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and completeness through rigorous validation processes to minimize downstream errors Maintain data integrity and resolve complex data gaps and quality issues Represent team in key recurring finance meetings, responding to in-depth questions regarding Total Shop Payroll close and forecast reviews Proactively prepare data and trend analysis for weekly and monthly reporting, including both financial (Payroll and KPIs) and operational content, and share insights cross functionally Build strong partnerships across departments to understand upstream data dependencies and ensure insights align with broader business processes Supports Sr. Manager in translating complex business insights into understandable language for non-financial audiences, driving alignment and informed decision-making Transform raw data into actionable data, supporting the organization with key insights to ensure objective data driven decision-making Develop and support the implementation of improved business processes and tools Own ad hoc analysis to support larger cross functional strategic priorities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
5+ years of related FP&A or financial reporting experience; Retail or CPG industry experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in finance or business highly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization including non-finance personnel and the executive level High level of attention to detail, problem solve complex reporting errors Excellent time management skills to ensure business critical tasks are completed in a timely manner Demonstrated success in critical thinking and decision making, understanding when to seek assistance/guidance Proactive, highly motivated, innovative, and analytical individual who is not afraid to challenge the status quo Advanced expertise in Excel and Financial Systems; SQL and Tableau skills are an asset Strong modelling skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications#FSCHIRING
