Your New Role: 
The Manager, Windows Systems Architecture leads the design, standardization, and governance of enterprise-wide Windows infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with security, scalability, and operational excellence goals . This role oversees a team of engineers, drives architectural decisions for endpoint and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver resilient and compliant systems across global environments 

Your Role Accountabilities: 

OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT time to spent 50%

Assist project team, key stakeholders, and management to prioritize business requirements and develop and maintain detailed project plans using standard tools Lead or contribute to endpoint-related projects such as OS upgrades, security tool rollouts, and hardware refreshes. Define scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders Work with internal teams (e.g., InfoSec, Network, Procurement) and external vendors (e.g., Microsoft, hardware OEMs) to ensure successful project delivery Maintain project documentation including technical designs, implementation plans, and post-mortem reviews. Provide regular updates to  Identify opportunities to streamline endpoint operations and propose automation or tooling enhancements. Participate in enterprise-wide initiatives like E5 migrations or Defender for Endpoint optimization  

STRATEGY time to spent 25%

Contribute to the creation and evolution of the enterprise-wide Windows endpoint strategy, ensuring alignment with WBD’s security, compliance, and user experience goals Partner with InfoSec to define and maintain a roadmap for endpoint technologies, including Intune, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, and BitLocker Support the development of governance models (e.g., RACI matrices) for endpoint management, including patching, policy enforcement, and compliance monitoring Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and practices that can enhance endpoint security, automation, and manageability. Propose pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives 

TEAM time to spent 25%

Support performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning for team members. Promote engagement, accountability, and a positive team culture. Assist in prioritizing and distributing operational and project tasks across the team. Ensure timely delivery of objectives while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration

 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

Minimum 7 years in Windows endpoint engineering or systems administration. Expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory (GPO)  Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting  Experience with Windows 10/11 hardening, BitLocker, and Defender Firewall policies  Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, and other EDR tools  Knowledge of Azure AD, M365 E5 security stack, and conditional access policies  A passion for accuracy and translating insights into a compelling narrative; able to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture Excellent written and verbal communication Superb relationship building skills Work collaboratively w/small teams Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently  People leading focus 

 

Not Required but preferred experience: 

Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.) Experience working in a national or global company Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
