**Opportunity**
This position oversees strategy and execution for all group and individual activities around hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, hiking, canoeing, camping, and others as identified. The position works on the development of wildlife habitats and food plots to enhance soil health, promote ecological diversity, and uphold land stewardship principles. This involves monitoring animal populations, enforcing wildlife laws, conducting research, and implementing management strategies to protect and conserve species. Crafting agile and impactful digital advertising strategies across social platforms, forums, and email campaigns to build brand awareness and accelerate growth. This is a full-time, exempt, guest-facing position that will require evening and weekend availability.
**Specific Responsibilities**
+ Regularly monitor animal populations, habitat conditions, and environmental factors to track trends and identify potential problems. They may also conduct research on animal behavior, ecology, and habitat use to inform management decisions.
+ Enforce wildlife laws and regulations, including hunting licenses, conservation permits, and environmental protection laws. This may involve patrolling areas and investigating violations.
+ Play a role in educating the public about wildlife, conservation, and responsible recreation. This may involve public outreach programs, educational materials, or hunter education courses.
+ Work with other agencies, organizations, and individuals to coordinate conservation efforts and address complex issues. This may involve collaborating with researchers, policymakers, or community groups.
+ Guide or schedule upland hunts throughout the River Wildlife Hunting Preserve. Supervise and arrange hunting parties to ensure the maximum usage of River Wildlife hunting areas, while promoting a safe hunting environment.
+ Plan and execute video shoots to capture hunting trips, wildlife footage, gear reviews, and instructional content.Utilize various cameras, drones, microphones, and editing software to produce engaging and high-quality videos. Developing and executing video content aligned with a specific brand or marketing vision.
+ Collaborate with marketing teams to brainstorm video concepts and storyboarding.
+ Ensure timely delivery of videos, meeting established quality standards.
+ Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and best practices in video production, new outdoor activities and improved technologies and implement or add as needed
+ Manage staffing for experiences (onboard, train, schedule, etc..), create SOPs as needed,
+ Manage inventory, run daily reports as required and other day-to-day operational tasks.
+ Collaborate with Food & Beverage teams, maintenance and landscaping teams as required.
+ Ensure a safe environment for all participants by managing risks and providing necessary safety precautions. Being prepared to respond to emergencies and administer first aid if necessary.
+ Maintain and prepare the necessary equipment for activities, ensuring it is in good working order and safe to use.
+ Provide regular updates on all assigned grounds and activities to Director – Agronomy & Landscape. Present and participate in meetings as requested.
+ Monitor and track the sale and redemption of yearly birding contracts and ensure proper supply to fulfill these contracts.
+ Train staff and clients in proper gun handling and safety. Instruct and monitor all firearm usage throughout the property, this includes teaching new shooters firearms basics on the various ranges as well as practicing safe gun handling in the field.
+ Responsible for or coordinating basic gunsmithing and maintenance on all River Wildlife owned firearms.
**Skills/Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, natural resource management, conservation, biology or forestry required.
+ Knowledge in agronomy, wildlife, hunting and fishing required.
+ Experience with gun handling/gun safety required. Gun handling and safety course completion is required.
+ Must have extensive knowledge of Department of Natural Resources laws and regulations, and all aspects of hunting and shooting sports.
+ Wildland Firefighting Certification is highly preferred.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
