Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. What You’ll Do
Manages and provides direction to the supervisors, teams and team members.
Ensures systems are in place to efficiently and effectively manage quality work in accordance with factory standards, company policies, and customer expectations.
Ensures customer satisfaction through the direction of technicians/shop staff in the performance of quality maintenance and repair work.
Prepares schedules and plans staff rotations to ensure maintenance/repair work is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Analyzes incoming vehicles for service needs.
Maintains supply and support systems, including technical reference material, workshop supplies, and other related materials.
Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
Mentors and teaches technicians to ensure overall growth of the team.
Ensures that all personnel adhere to company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Who You Are
Minimum:
BA/BS degree and 7+ years of related experience (reconditioning and/or lot operations; body shop; automotive service and/ or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. No Degree, 11 years of relevant experience.
At least 1 year experience in a management or lead role.
Good communication and interaction skills.
Good management and organizational skills.
A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
The ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)
Preferred:
Knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations regarding OSHA, EPA and MSDS.
