What you'll be doing Plan, manage and control activities of a team responsible for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces. Partner with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define & design products that enable/support app certification, app publishing & testing, payout management, setup & management of monetizable products/subscriptions, product/feature experimentation, supply chain & logistics support, revenue tracking and accounting tools. Help the design team explore a variety of design directions, iterate designs based on user feedback, engineering capabilities and business needs -- and analyze the pros and cons of each. Balance qualitative and quantitative data to make user-centered design decisions. Oversee design work across all project phases from design discovery to delivery in a fast-paced environment, leading through rapidly evolving, complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal teams. Supervision of two Sr. UX Product Designers, and one UX Product Designer. Manage, coach, and inspire this team, by providing vision and direction. Manage self & team assignment/capacity to deliver across project phases from concept to production and documentation. Communicate the user experience in design reviews and presentations with UX management, stakeholders and executive leadership.
Up to two days per week telecommuting may be permitted.
You are required to have Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Product Design and Development, Human Centered Design and Engineering, Psychology, or related field. 7 years of progressive experience in the position or a related occupation. Must have at least 3 years of prior work experience in the following: Designing for app publishing & management tools. Designing for tools that enable setup & management of monetizable products/subscriptions and payout management. Designing & prototyping with Figma. Modern web standards, responsive web design, and web tools. Work with product & business stakeholders to define the product roadmap and requirements. Leading and supporting designers to iterate and deliver design solutions. Employing project management skills to define, plan & drive projects forward. Employing data analysis skills to create ad-hoc SQL reports and dashboards. Employing research skills to conduct customer interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis.
The annual salary for this position for California only is between $280,000 – $320,000.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
