**Job Summary**
In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for more than just managing a team; you'll be a key driver of our future success. You'll have the autonomy to implement innovative planning systems and strategies that will directly impact our business goals, from capacity planning and material sourcing to master production scheduling and distribution. This is a unique opportunity to lead transformative projects, build new capabilities, and mentor a team of talented professionals.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ **Leading Strategic Transformation:** Take ownership of end-to-end planning projects, from concept to implementation. This involves spearheading the adoption of new platforms and technologies for supply network planning, production planning and scheduling, and inventory management. You'll serve as the key advocate for new planning strategies, ensuring they are not just implemented but successfully embedded into our daily operations. This is about building a more resilient, agile, and intelligent supply chain for the future.
+ **Driving Operational Excellence:** Establish and maintain the core disciplines of our supply planning function. You'll collaborate closely with global planning teams, IT, and external business partners to ensure smooth project execution and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This includes:
+ **Capacity Planning:** Developing and managing long-range capacity plans that align with business growth and new product innovation.
+ **Master Production Scheduling:** Crafting and overseeing the master production schedule to balance customer demand with production efficiency in the plants.
+ **Material Planning:** Ensuring the reliable and timely flow of materials by partnering with sourcing and procurement teams.
+ **Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP):** Optimizing the deployment of finished goods across our network to guarantee product availability where and when it's needed.
+ **Developing and Mentoring Your Team:** Build and lead a high-performing team of supply chain professionals. You will set clear, ambitious goals, provide regular coaching and feedback, and create a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and innovation. This is more than just managing a team; it's about inspiring and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
+ **Innovating Through Data and Analytics:** Leverage your expertise in advanced analytics and supply chain optimization tools to identify new opportunities for improvement. You'll be responsible for developing data-backed business cases that lead to enhanced capacity management, optimized costs, and superior service levels. Your insights will directly influence our strategic decisions and long-term success.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
+ At least 8 years of hands-on supply chain experience, with a focus on supply and production planning.
+ Proven experience in a supervisory or project management role, with a strong track record of leading and developing teams.
+ Direct experience with advanced planning systems like SAP S/4, Kinaxis, and/or SAP APO.
+ Ability to apply advanced analytics to solve complex problems.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MBA and/or APICS certification
+ **Skills:**
+ Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
+ Broad business acumen with a deep understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and financial reporting.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $120,000 - $168,500 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
