Manager, US Marketplace - Restaurant Growth Strategy & Operations
About the Team

Our US Marketplace Strategy & Operations team is responsible for building, scaling and improving the way in which we provide Restaurant delivery. We build our restaurant selection, test 0 → 1 products to give merchants more opportunity to delight their consumers, and optimize ways to improve our marketplace to increase the return on investment our partners gain from partnering with DoorDash. This team focuses on all things Restaurants ranging from selection, to merchandising, to consumer strategy, to leveraging our logistics network in new ways, to so much more! 

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager to join our Marketplace Strategy & Operations team, with a focus on Restaurant Growth. This team is dedicated to growing our restaurant marketplace by launching new selection, enhancing in-app merchandising, helping negotiate new merchant partnerships, and commercializing products that help our restaurant partners grow their businesses on DoorDash. In this role, you will be focused on identifying and executing the most promising ways to grow marketplace revenue while deepening DoorDash’s partnership with its restaurant partners.

The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep sense of ownership. If you're excited about launching 0 to 1 projects, solving customer challenges, working in fast-paced environments, and managing a marketplace business line with broad impact, this role is for you.

We operate in a hybrid model, balancing in-person collaboration with remote work. While this is an individual contributor position, there will be immediate opportunities to take on people management responsibilities. You will report directly to a Director within our Strategy & Operations team.

Operate. You will become an expert on how to run a sustainable marketplace business, and what it takes to create value for Merchants, Dashers and Consumers.. We’re excited about you because… You have 6+ years of experience in a problem solving role - Consulting, Tech, Banking, Food & Beverage, etc.  You have a completed BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (engineering, mathematics, business, etc.) You display strong financial acumen. You know your way around complex financial or operational models.  You have a strong history of data analysis. Excel/sheets prowess 100% required. SQL experience is a major plus. Willingness to learn is okay. You are a collaborator. You have experience with stakeholder management across diverse audiences, from front-line doers to senior executives.
