We are looking for a Manager, FP&A to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Manager, FP&A, you will be responsible for partnering directly with Senior and Executive leadership to develop the long-term planning strategy and execute strategic initiatives designed to generate new product offerings, increase profitability or efficiency, improve working capital and cashflow, mitigate risks to operating expense and margin, expand data drive modeling, or otherwise drive value within the geography.

The Manager, FP&A role is perfect for a versatile, driven individual with high intellectual horsepower, exceptional quantitative skills, keen attention to detail, and well-honed business judgement. Being the ideal candidate, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, seek to continuously improve stakeholder experience and insight, and consistently deliver strong results. You will interact with a variety of stakeholders and collaborate with a strong team to produce accurate forecasts, provide analytical insight, and drive profitability optimization opportunities. To succeed in this role, you must have strong critical thinking, leadership, communication and relationship skills as well as strong problem solving and analytical skills. You should also be able to drive cross-functional planning processes and projects while being willing to roll up your sleeves to execute some of them yourself.

A Day in the Life  

Generate key financial insights, scenario analysis, data analytics to support effective decision making across Element’s Senior and Executive Leadership groupLead the month-end closing process for specific sub-functions of the US/CA geographyLead, coach, and develop Senior Financial Analysts and Financial Analysts within the team to drive overall performance and excellenceDevelop, maintain, produce, and present monthly Management Operating Review packsOwn, improve, execute and automate/enhance reliable operational data and forecasting models that can be updated efficiently to assess performance, drive outcomes, and optimize profitabilityJuggle stream of ad-hoc requests aimed at further driving valueThis role will have 3 direct reports

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field of study7 years of experience, with at least 2 years at a manager level, in a finance, business operations, or audit role at a top-tier management consulting firm, high-growth, and/or technology companyExperience of working in a fast-paced or high growth environment is a plusCPA qualification or related post-education qualification is a plusA high degree of business partnering orientation toward internal stakeholders across the organization, passionate about creating a best-in-class service and best-in-class companyStrong managerial and leadership skills, capable of fostering accountability, ownership, delegation where appropriateSelf-starter motivation and ability to remain calm under pressureQuick and scrappy learner who adapts to a fast-moving environment and gets things done, combines creativity, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude to overcome obstaclesProficient with MS Office ProductsExperience with automation technologies and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Smartsheet workflow, Alteryx, or other BI tools is a plusExperience with data analysis in SQLKnowledge of SAP S4/HANA and/or OneStream a plus but not required

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 to $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
