This role offers the opportunity to work in various exciting locations, including Greenville, SC, Tulsa, OK, Shelton, CT, St. Louis, MO, and Centralia, MO. You'll monitor trade regulations, optimize technology use, supervise compliance activities, and facilitate communication between teams.

A Day In The Life
The Manager, Trade Compliance Shared Services, will routinely interface with multiple functions and will be expected to:
+ Monitor and analyze changes in trade regulations and practices, assessing impacts on company operations and adjusting compliance strategies accordingly.
+ Ensure the effective use of technology and systems within the shared services center to streamline trade compliance processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
+ Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance for Compliance Shared Service activities supporting Hubbell and all their associated businesses.
+ Assessing, planning, supporting, monitoring, and reporting on Hubbell's preference determination programs.
+ Work closely with Director, Compliance Shared Services to facilitate effective communication between the Compliance Shared Services teams (HTS, Country of Origin determination, Vendor Solicitation, Environmental Compliance, and Buy America) and with internal stakeholders.
+ Partner with Director, Compliance Shared Services in developing and refining the key performance indicators for the Compliance Shared Services team.
+ Coordinate efforts to meet and maintain acceptable performance levels with regards to compliance objectives with an ability to proactively support, train, and communicate to internal stakeholders.
+ Support and promote an ethical approach to trade compliance activities.
What will help you thrive in this role?
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
+ Strong knowledge of HTS classification and explanatory notes, import and export documentation, rules and regulations related to free trade qualification.
+ High-level critical thinking and analytical skills, leadership experience and exceptional relationship management competencies to understand the impact and sensitivity of trade compliance matters.
+ Ability to set and execute strategic goals and objectives for the Trade Compliance Shared Services team while also managing and providing support for tactical, operational solutions.
+ Experience with SAP and SAP-GTS is highly preferred.
+ Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization (including briefing executive management).
+ At least 5 years of Trade Compliance experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and professional certifications in an area of study relevant to this position.
