Title and Summary
Manager, Total RewardsOverview•\tSupports the design and development of compensation programs, contributing to a rewards strategy that recognizes diverse employee needs.
•\tCollaborates with partners within and outside Total Rewards to ensure a superior experience of compensation programs for all Mastercard employees.
•\tContributes to building and maintaining competitive and equitable Total Rewards practices, with a focus on compliance with evolving regional regulations, particularly in European markets.
Responsibilities
•\tSupports the design and development compensation strategies, and programs.
•\tSupport the management of compensation programs, including base salary, variable pay, and annual compensation cycles.
•\tProvides support for geographic compensation reviews, including reviewing compensation programs, pay mix changes, target changes, and salary structures.
•\tSupports the design and delivery of training and education for managers, employees, and P&C on total rewards topics.
•\tSupports compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, including preparation of required pay gap reporting, ensuring pay transparency in job advertisements and offers, and communication and education for employees and managers.
•\tSupports initiatives related to pay fairness, compliance, and governance, including pay transparency, living wage interventions, local gender pay regulatory reporting, and responding to economic volatility.
•\tAssists with analysing market data and reviewing internal salaries, allowances, and variable compensation to ensure competitiveness.
Experiences/Skills requirements
•\tStrong understanding of compensation practices, benchmarking methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
•\tExperience supporting the design of competitive compensation programs based on best practices in a global organization.
•\tSuccessfully managed vendor and consultant relationships to deliver high quality solutions that meet timelines and budgets.
•\tAbility to interpret data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
•\tProficient in Excel and familiar with compensation tools or HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Comptryx, Payfactors, Radford, etc.).
•\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships across levels and functions in a geographically diverse team.
•\tComfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
