Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. Here you can: Versant is looking for a Manager, Talent Development to join their team! The Manager, Talent Development will report to the VP, Talent & Engagement and will help design and deliver innovative learning and growth experiences for employees at all levels—fostering a culture where continuous development is expected, supported, and celebrated. You’ll be a key partner in launching foundational programs, driving learning initiatives, and supporting leadership and career development across the company as Versant evolves as a company post-spin. You’ll bring energy, empathy, and a passion for helping others grow, all while building scalable solutions in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. What you’ll do: + Develop & Deliver Programs: Design, coordinate, and facilitate development programs and experiences that support employee growth—from onboarding to leadership training to career development workshops. You’ll also have the freedom to explore new ways of delivering training to employees that they haven’t experienced before in a dynamic environment like Versant. + Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent teams to identify learning needs and deliver tailored development solutions. + Own Key Initiatives: Lead key talent development workstreams such as manager enablement, performance development, feedback culture, or mentorship programs. + Create Learning Content: Develop engaging, accessible learning content including toolkits, guides, workshops, and digital learning experiences. + Support Leadership Development: Assist in designing and scaling leadership training for emerging and mid-level leaders. + Track Success: Monitor participation, engagement, and outcomes of talent development programs using data, feedback, and talent insights—making recommendations for continuous improvement. Work in our Learning Management System to develop solutions that make sense for a dynamic company like Versant. + Champion Culture & Inclusion: Ensure all development programs reflect our company values and are inclusive, equitable, and culturally relevant. What you’ll need: + At least 5 years of experience in talent development, learning & development, or organizational effectiveness. + Strong experience designing and delivering learning programs in creative, media, tech, or high-growth environments. + Comfort with both strategic planning and hands-on execution—especially in a startup or scale-up setting. + Excellent facilitation and communication skills—able to connect with employees at all levels in a clear, inspiring way. + Experience with digital learning platforms, content creation, and program evaluation. + Passion for storytelling, people growth, and helping others unlock their potential.
