The **Manager, SV Ext Mfg PMO** is responsible for leading and managing the external manufacturing (EM) project portfolio, including the process and system to maintain this information. You will participate in the planning and support execution of the budget for the EM activities for Vision. Provide the overall leadership to the EM group, coordinating the capital budgeting and strategic planning. Partner with EM leaders to develop project metrics and track progress for the area. This position may lead or actively participate on cross Medical Device Supply Chain and/or JJSC projects. Drive collaboration with Partners (i.e., Production Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Finance, etc.) to deliver safe, reliable, high-quality products for our patients, at a reasonable cost. It also, actively participates on the EM Make Leadership Team.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support inputting and ultimately accountable for maintaining the EM project portfolio, Planisware system.
+ Work as subject matter expert for Project Management, including providing training and support to EM teams on project management to support talent development.
+ Facilitate successful delivery of budget and strategic plans.
+ Partner with EM Operation excellence to develop metrics to ensure projects are prioritized, tracked, and reported to meet business goals.
+ Work as capital management SME to live within the operating model including, developing business cases, raising CARs, POs, and other financial questions.
+ Set the standards for effective communication, promoting positive morale, and supporting employee involvement programs across assigned operations.
+ As needed, lead large projects.
+ Foster a team environment within EM and across the Vision organization.
+ Develop and document project management best practices.
+ Establish an inclusion environment conducive to support a diverse employee population.
+ Promote and nurture the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and compliance, and actively support our compliance program-related initiatives and activities.
+ Knowledgeable and compliance with financial WWPs, and maintains the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance. Diligently participates in compliance programs.
+ Effectively communicate and interface with all levels of management.
+ Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
**Required:**
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, (a degree in Engineering is preferred).
+ Minimum of 8 years of business-related experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Operations within a regulated industry.
+ Experience utilizing a Project/Portfolio Management Software tool.
+ Experience leading projects, developing business cases, and managing budgets to plans.
+ Experience working with cross functional partners, bridging technical and business disciplines.
+ This position may require up to 25% travel both Domestic & International.
**Preferred:**
+ An advanced degree (Master’s of PhD) in Business or Finance.
+ Cross franchise/sector experience.
+ Experience working with external manufacturing partners.
+ Experience with NCR process, CAPA and other quality system components.
+ Advanced understanding and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools.
+ Project management, or Black Belt/Green Belt Six Sigma certification.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
100,000 to 172,000
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
