Manager, Surgery Center

Summary

In support of the mission of Goshen Health this position primarily supports the Administrative Director for Goshen Surgery Center and is responsible for the day-to-day functions.

The Manager provides managerial expertise in operations such as surgery center workflow, Colleague management, develops practice and provider relationships, and monitors performance requirements. The Manager will help the Administrative Director with statistics, data analysis, operational and capital budget preparation, surgical scheduling, materials management, and vendor relations for Goshen Surgery Center.

 

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education                     Associate Degree in healthcare or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education                     Bachelor Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or related area.

Minimum Experience         3-5 years of previous managerial and health care experience.  Previous use of spreadsheet software is essential. 

Preferred Experience                    5-10 years of managerial experience in a perioperative program; coding experience. Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid. Familiarity with medical software.

Certifications Required       Healthcare provider CPR certification
