Inviting applications for Manager- Supply Chain Analytics Expert - Data Science and Insights.

The Manager SCM is expected to play a pivotal bridging role between statistical and technology specialists, AND the business /functional resources. At a broad level, the Manager/Senior Manager shall leverage his/her solutioning expertise to translate the customer’s business need into a techno-analytic problem and appropriately work with the statistical technology specialist to bring large scale analytic solutions to fruition.

Responsibilities

· Participate in SME reviews of Predictive Analytics opportunities/ engagements

· Develop SCM relevant models

· Understand business requirements and transform needs into a mathematical solution

· Project Delivery - This would entail successful delivery of projects involving data Pre-processing, Model Training and Evaluation, Parameter Tuning

· Manage Stakeholder/Customer Expectations

· Project Blue Printing and Project Documentation

· Creating Project Plan

· Jump-start Machine Learning projects with the customer with focus on providing disruptive insights in reasonable timeframes

· Actively collaborate with competency leaders in Big Data, OR, BI areas to stitch big-ticket solutions with end-to-end span

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

· Exposure to Statistical Toolkits such as R, Weka, S-Plus, Matlab, SAS

· Good Python/R programming skills. Java programming skills a plus

· Direct involvement in working with large volumes of data and building, deploying and measuring predictive analytics models (i.e. SVM, decision tree, clustering, logistic regression, linear and non-linear regression)

· Deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, Torch, Theano

· Relevant analytic Solutioning Consulting experience in verticals such as BFSI, CPG, with relevant experience in delivering analytics on large structured and unstructured data corpuses

· Good knowledge of concepts in Machine Learning, Statistics, esp., in their application to learning from large data sources.

· Good understanding of supply chain principles like inventory planning, demand management, simulation, network optimization, scheduling, pricing

· Proven expertise in deriving insights from large, distributed databases.

· Demonstrated ability to Conduct look-ahead client research with a focus on supplementing and strengthening the client’s analytics agenda with newer tools and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

· Gurobi, CPLEX or another optimization software

· Simio or other simulation software

· SQL/NoSQL, MS Access, databases

· Data Visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI

· Linux, GPU Experience

· Previous experience with developing a complex simulation or optimization models

· Experience developing forecasting methodologies

· Ability to Prioritize, Consultative mindset Time management skills
