The Raytheon Supplier Assurance organization is seeking a manager/leader for its Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) Team. The SSOW Team is a multi-disciplined engineering team, providing SSOW development and requirements definition subject matter expertise in support of Raytheon programs across the business. The SSOW Team facilitates cross-functional stakeholder participation in the development of high-quality, process-compliant, best-fit SSOWs for Raytheon procurements. The SSOW team mitigates procurement risk by ensuring customer requirements, program intentions, and Raytheon best practices are integrated into clear, concise, and compliant SSOWs for Raytheon programs.

TRAVEL - Not typically required. Some possibility of 1-2 trips/year.

Procurement strategy development across an array of programs and product procurement typesBroad exposure across the various products, programs and technologies areas across the company

What you will do:

Lead the SSOW Team in fulfilling its charter for delivering SSOW excellence and in execution of SSOW development support to Raytheon programsServe as direct supervisor for SSOW Team employeesManage SSOW Team workload and internal program customer requests to deliver timely support to meet needsProvide SSOW subject matter expertise (SME) to company peers and program teams to build smart SSOW strategiesDrive organizational focus on SSOW development excellence and risk mitigation.Support effective SSOW-related policy/procedure, and enablersSupport organizational goals and develop aligned goals for the SSOW Team.Track and report performance metricsDrive and implement continuous improvements in the SSOW and requirements definition domain to align to business goals and strategic initiativesFoster a team culture of teamwork, collaboration, strategic thinking and customer service

Qualifications you must have: 

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience described as:Industry experience related to product and services procurements, design, delivery, technical data packages, configuration management, program management, and/or contracts OR and advanced degree and 8 years industry related experience as described above.4 years’ experience in SSOW development.Experience in a matrixed or multi-level cross-functional business.Team leadership experience

Qualifications we prefer:  

8+ years of Raytheon hardware engineering experienceProficient in SSOW best practices, and SSOW development processQualified SSOW Specialist per Raytheon Supplier Engineering SSOW Qualification Program or capable of achieving qualified status within the first six (6) months of being in the roleExperience in adjacent roles such as Supplier Engineering and/or subcontract managementExperience in risk management, including identifying / quantifying risks and developing mitigation strategies / plansUnderstands how requirements flow down from contracts and specifications into lower-level documentationAble to lead by influence; can drive peers to action completionExcellent professional communication skills (written and oral)

Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
