The Strategy Manager will use research, analysis, interviews, and targeted observations to determine the strategy to drive growth for Vestcom. They will design, conduct, and present analysis and insights based on sound methodology and Vestcom priorities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Partner with Commercial Leadership team to lead key strategic initiatives including pilot testsQuantify the value generated via Vestcom’s solutionsEvaluate M&A and partnership opportunities to accelerate execution of our strategyIdentify, run, and translate analysis into value-based insights and presentations that can be used by or communicated to our key clients and senior leadership at VestcomConduct industry, competitor, and SWOT analysesProvide direct support to the VP of StrategyPartner and support functions across Vestcom including Exec, Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, ITQualificationsKey Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or similar field2-5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy, preferably in or serving clients in retail and/or marketingAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (and their Google equivalents), with the following required: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Access and SQL are a plusMust be adept at accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, self-reliant when resolving issues to ensure objectives are completed and capable of determining when escalation of issues is necessaryMust have exceptional time management, organizational and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMust have strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsMust be able to prepare and effectively present information to large and small groups, to employees, and to managementMust be able to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the development of strategies and project plans that meet departmental goals and ensure quality standards for serviceIdeal candidate will have experience with or understanding of digital media, retail media networks, ecommerce and/or digital platforms (preferred but not required)Understanding of or experience in retail, grocery, CPG industries is a plusAbility to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core valuesAdditional InformationThe salary range for this position is $123,375 - $164,500/year.
The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
