Job Description

Summary

The Manager, Strategy is responsible for supporting the delivery of projects/ initiatives with project management and analysis for the Strategy team and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This includes understanding the full end to end ANJ P&L to determine revenue, costs and profitability across multiple scenarios.

Key responsibilities

Key deliverables of the role include:

Develop project plans focused on agreed scope, schedule, resources and expected deliverables

Manage, with potentially the opportunity to lead, one or more workstreams with the objective of delivery on time and aligned with desired outcomes

Track status of each phase and steps of project timeline and objectives, being able to identify and flag any issues or risks.

Influence and contribute to the decision making of key senior stakeholders through presentations and communications on proposed scenarios.

Scenario modelling

Developing models for different strategic plans across the business

Working cross functionally to understand the revenue, cost and profitability impacts of different scenarios

Making recommendations based on developed scenarios

Initiative costing

Modelling specific initiatives – related to all different lines i.e. Technology, People, sales, marketing, supply etc

Developing proposals for specific initiatives to be approved

Providing models and reporting

Provide reporting as required for Strategy team requests

Preparing proposals and presentations for internal and external parties

Analysis of commercial and operational business trends to inform decision making

Modelling to calculate profitability by category, segment and country

About you

5+ year’s work experience that compliments financial training, experience in FCMG an asset

Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting/Finance/Commerce or related discipline is desirable

Corporate Finance experience in understanding end to end P&L of the business

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access is a plus

Systems knowledge a plus: Tableau, Demantra, JDA
