Manager, Specialist Sales – Small and Medium Enterprises, Central Europe (Parental leave replacement - up to 24 months)

Your role in 30 secs:
Grow and develop Mastercard’s Products and Solutions for Small Business Segment in Central Europe by closely working with account managers and product teams to deepen the cooperation Mastercard has with existing customers by tapping into new opportunities and finding new partners to grow and diversify our business.


Build on the strong existing products and business relationships we have, to drive innovations by launching new products and services across the product lifecycle, adopting new business models and help embrace new networks and build new service revenue streams to underscore Mastercard’s thought and service leadership in Small Business Segment.

You are part of a curious, diverse and dynamic team consisting of account managers, business development, product managers, marketing, technical experts and consultants and will dual-report to the Divisional and Regional Product Heads.


Things you do:
•\tDevelop and execute our Small Business product strategy for Central Europe in cooperation with country management, account teams and product teams
•\tConnect the worlds: make sure our market strategy is aligned with Mastercard’s global and Europe strategy and ensure the market gets the central support required. Work with peers in adjacent functions to “connect the dots” to vividly sketch out a compelling vision of a world beyond cash
•\tLead strategic projects and be a pioneer in the field of product development, product differentiation and innovation
•\tWork with your team and the account teams to build exciting customer pitches including defining the value proposition, business case and overall storyline
•\tDevelop understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle, actively work to improve user experience and processes
•\tPrepare launches and monitors product performance, adoption, and operational health
•\tSupport and participate in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into enhancements
•\tOwn and manage product documentation ensuring it is clear and easily consumable by product, cross-functional and engineering teams
•\tBe the ambassador of your products in Poland and Central Europe: educate and inspire the team and market about the value or of our SME solutions suite
•\tPlan and track our product performance and how we perform against targets
•\tStay curious: watch the market, watch trends and bring new ideas to the table on how we can differentiate, grow and innovate our product universe


Things we expect:
•\tInterest and passion for payments, banking, financial services, e-commerce and all things digital.
•\tExperience in Strategy / Management Consulting is desired, but not necessary’
•\tIngenuity, curiosity, agility, creativity and a real team player attitude
•\tWillingness to learn, develop and get involved and roll up your sleeves
•\tBusiness acumen with the ability to create and communicate solutions that meet real customer needs – excellent command of the relevant business tools such xls. and ppt.
•\tStrategic thinking and outstanding communication skills on all levels
•\tFluent English and Polish, more languages are optional
•\tAbility to effectively work and build relationships in multicultural matrix organization
•\tA good sense of humor paired with strong work ethic and ambition to “make a difference”
•\tAnd yes, MBA or Master or Bachelor degree
•\tYou will be based in Warsaw with occasional travelling required
