A Typical Day
Are you a highly skilled, hands-on data engineering leader with a passion for building robust and scalable data solutions? We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Digital Reporting and Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture that delivers critical financial and operational insights to senior leadership, finance teams, and business analysts. What You'll Do
+ Lead and mentor a team of talented data engineers, fostering their professional growth and maximizing the team's impact.
+ Architect and build resilient, scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL .
+ Design and maintain data models and data warehousing solutions to support high-performance analytics and business intelligence needs.
+ Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of all datasets, from raw data to business-facing dashboards and reports.
+ Drive continuous process improvements and implement technical coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
+ Lead code-review sessions and guide the team in adopting best practices.
What You’ll Bring
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience as a data engineer
+ Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python
+ 3+ years of experience leading or managing a team of developers
+ Proven expertise with AWS , including services for ETL/ELT and microservices such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Batch
+ Experience with data modeling (e.g., Conceptual, Logical, Dimensional).
+ Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
+ Hands-on experience with data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
+ Experience with distributed-computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark )
+ Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
+ Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive, with the ability to work independently while being a great team player.

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
