Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Management and business users to develop new features and applications, as well as enhance the functionality and efficiencies of the existing applications. Work closely with fellow software developers to share best practices, review logic, and learn new technologies. Assist with production support and the maintenance and enhancement of applications supporting Mutual Fund Trading and Clearing business. Collaborate with the development teams and technology leaders across Schwab technology on product development, best practices, and automation. Assess and apply emerging technologies, practices, and processes and strategize and execute projects to improve efficiency and innovation. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 72 months of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation. Requires 72 months of experience involving the following: Micro services using .Net technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server (with OAuth, CSK3, or SAML) for application security; Backend process using MongoDB and Aerospike datastore; Frontend development using Angular 4+; Coding using SOLID principles, designing GoF patterns in micro services, and Cloud Native Architecture implementation; Real-time event-based processing and messaging using IBM MQ, RabbitMQ and Kafka; and Developing CICD pipelines using JENKINS or Bamboo with Unit Test coverage, Linting, and Sonarqube.
