We are looking for a highly motivated, top notch software development leader with both business and technical acumen to build and manage a team, that develops solutions to help sellers manage compliance at ease. You will have the opportunity to build, scale and shape the direction of this business. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and strong business judgment. You will be responsible for services that can be deployed globally, delivering an exceptional customer experience, provide thought leadership in a fast-paced development environment, and partner with product management and senior leaders to ensure the success of this program.
Key job responsibilities
- Independently manage a team of SDEs through hiring, assessment, development and promotions.
- Define the strategic vision for your team, partnering effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Build, execute and drive a high performing team, through independent decision-making. Define clear goals and objectives.
- Proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your manager, customers, and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks.
- Collaborate successfully with customers, leaders, and other engineering teams. Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences.

Seller Compliance Tech (SC Tech) team in the SFT Org manages seller compliance by building globally scalable solutions, that help keep them compliance. We also own services that help sellers focus on their business growth and not worry about compliance. This role is for Tax and trade compliance space within SC-Tech. The team has rich diversity of fresh and experienced people, ranging from 0 to 10+ years of experienced Amazonians.
