Job Summary:

Are you passionate about entertainment, storytelling, and the power of social media to connect fans with unforgettable content? Disney+ is looking for a Social Media Manager for a  6 months Fixed Term Contract to drive our social strategy in Spain, grow our communities, and bring the magic of Disney to millions of fans.

About the Role
 

As the Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for designing and executing the Disney+ social media strategy in Spain. You’ll manage a team of two and collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance the performance of our social channels, optimize content, and deliver impactful campaigns across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch.

Key Responsibilities

Grow and engage Disney+ communities across all major social platforms.

Lead organic and paid social activations to boost awareness and buzz around Disney+ releases.

Develop and manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing.

Collaborate with internal creative teams, global and local marketing teams, and customer service.

Support paid media campaigns with performance insights and optimizations.

Align social strategies with broader business units (e.g. Studio, Retail, Channel).

Source and repurpose user-generated content and engage with influencers and celebrities.

Monitor trends, conduct social listening, and provide actionable insights.

Deliver regular performance reports and benchmark results.

Uphold and promote best-in-class social media practices across European markets.
 

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience managing social media for major brands.

Proven success in social and influencer campaigns.

Strong analytical skills and experience with performance reporting.

Experience managing agencies and creative production.

Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.

Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and the Disney brand.

Proactive, collaborative, and audience-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

University degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.

Proficiency in Office tools and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Fireworks).

Familiarity with digital legal requirements (e.g. promotions, competitions).
