Manager, Scientific Marketing

The Scientific Marketing team is looking for a skilled marketing manager to drive speaker bureau support and other educational programs supporting Ophthalmology portfolio. This role will be a key member of the Ophthalmology marketing team and will report to the Senior Director, Scientific Marketing.
**In this role, a typical day may include the following:**
+ Working closely with Sr. Director, marketing team members and agency partners, develop and implement a scientific marketing plan which supports the long-term vision for Ophthalmology portfolio.
+ Contribute to overarching brand and tactical planning, liaising with agency partners for SciMark coordination
+ Participate in building scientific narratives and driving the evolution of brand strategy
+ Drive the development of speaker program materials & content across all indications for Ophthalmology portfolio, and co-lead training needs as appropriate
+ Partner with "Thought Leader Liaison" in driving speaker communications, optimizations, and engagements
+ Assist in identifying key KOLs for congress and other SciMark activities. Prepare for and participate in engagement plans with KOLs as requested
+ Manage KOL communications and logistics as required, such as for advisory board meetings, case collections, etc. Also manage internal processes as needed in support of KOL activities (ie-NAF, proof of service, legal reviews)
+ Develop scientific content for use across various media opportunities, in partnership with the marketing team
+ Proactively own assigned tactical initiatives from conception through execution, inclusive of RC reviews, working with agency partners as needed
+ Brief marketing team and cross functional colleagues on SciMark activities and plans
+ Attend major congresses
**This role may be for you if you:**
+ Have experience leading and developing medical education tactics, especially in biologics/high science products, and products with multiple indications (buy and bill experience an additional plus)
+ Develop and implement educational programs targeting HCPs and related key customer groups, including activities such as advisory boards and congress-related marketing activities
+ Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work alongside agency partners and internal team members to optimize initiatives in support of overarching brand objectives
+ Are scientifically curious
+ Have experience managing project timelines and budgets
+ Are willing to travel up to 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed)
To be considered, we require a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. We are also seeking 3-5+ years of professional experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a focus on educational content development and execution. Experience working with pharmaceutical MLR processes is required. Ophthalmology (Retina), Oncology or Rheumatology experience preferred. Lastly, we need you to be onsite in Sleepy Hollow, NY 4 days a week.

$113,100.00 - $184,700.00
