We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, SAP PTD (Plan to Deliver) Architect with strong experience of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and knowledge of transportation management (TM) to lead and support our SAP architecture strategy and implementation at the site level. This is a critical role that will provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions that meet the operational needs of the site, focusing on EWM and TM modules. The role will involve designing and optimizing SAP solutions, providing leadership to the implementation team, and working closely with business stakeholders to enhance process efficiency, streamline operations, and drive business transformation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**SAP System Management:**
+ Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) solutions at the site level. Ensure operational consistency and alignment with established business goals and IT strategies under direction from senior leadership.
+ Support the implementation and functionality of SAP Manufacturing and Quality Management systems, offering insights for potential integration improvements.
+ Participate in the implementation of Advanced EWM features, such as Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR), Resource Management, Post-Processing Framework, and Serialization, ensuring these functionalities enhance day-to-day operations.
+ Collaborate on SAP TM processes, including Freight Costing, Carrier Selection, Freight Order Management, Load Planning, and Transportation Scheduling, focusing on efficient site-level execution.
+ Support in following best practices for SAP Plan To Deliver processes, facilitating seamless integration and optimization of TM and EWM systems.
**Team Leadership and Collaboration:**
+ Manage AMS support including oversight of Break-fixes and Enhancements ensuring high performance, effective collaboration, and knowledge sharing within EWM / TM landscape.
+ Coordinate with global SAP teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions that meet business requirements and milestones.
+ Ability to take initiative and facilitate meetings / workshops to provide correct technical solutions (i.e., incidents, enhancements, etc.)
+ Stay connected, involved, and be POC for SAP issues (i.e., iDoc management) with Business and key stakeholders
+ Drive solutions through collaboration and guidance!
+ Report to SLT and escalate, when necessary
+ Partner with site MES team for their design phases and potential impact to / with SAP
**Process Analysis and Documentation:**
+ Conduct fit-gap analysis for SAP processes and prepare detailed documentation for site-specific configurations, ensuring comprehensive records of system workflows.
+ Recommend improvements to SAP processes at the operational level, with an emphasis on automation opportunities and cost reduction.
+ Assist in site-level project management for SAP EWM/TM initiatives, ensuring tasks are executed on schedule and within scope. Engage in system testing phases, including Integration Testing, UAT, and Performance Testing, under senior leadership guidance.
+ Facilitate SAP upgrade and maintenance activities, supporting system transitions and testing to minimize disruption to site operations.
**Continuous Improvement and Innovation:**
+ Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new SAP EWM and TM capabilities (including S/4HANA, AI-driven logistics, and automation).
+ Leverage SAP TM’s embedded analytics and dashboard capabilities for real-time freight visibility and predictive logistics.
+ Recommend and implement solutions that increase system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
+ Lead innovation initiatives to integrate advanced features of SAP EWM/TM to optimize business processes.
**Compliance and Documentation:**
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and organizational standards for SAP systems and data management.
+ Maintain thorough documentation of the architecture, configuration, and customizations applied to the SAP EWM/TM modules.
+ Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to ensure SAP solutions meet necessary legal and audit requirements.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
**Educational Background:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
**Experience:**
+ Extensive experience managing SAP EWM/TM systems, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing.
+ Strong understanding of business processes in supply chain management, procurement, and warehouse management.
+ SAP EWM and ATTP integration experience, Pharmaceutical Serialization regulatory knowledge is a plus.
+ Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
+ At least 1 S4 HANA / EWM-TM Green field implementation experience with minimum 1 implementation in pharmaceutical industry.
**Skills:**
+ Proficiency in SAP EWM/TM configurations and operational functionalities, including integration support across modules (e.g., PP, QM, SD, FI-CO, MM).
+ Strong ability to analyze and solve technical issues within SAP systems, including iDoc management and error resolution.
+ Effective communication and teamwork skills, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with strong problem-solving capabilities.
+ Experience in leadership or managerial role, with experience in team management and cross-functional collaboration.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Flexibility to travel occasionally for project-related needs and to engage with on-site operations as required.
+ Ability to adapt to agile methodologies and support evolving project priorities while ensuring reliability in SAP system management.
