Manager, SAP Master Data Governance
**Manager, SAP Master Data Governance - Onsite Position** We are seeking an experienced **_Manager of Master Data Governance (SAP)_** to help develop and lead our data governance team at our world class facility in **_Ottawa, ON!_** Reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering Services and Program Management, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving master data processes within SAP to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organization. You will have strong leadership skills, expertise in SAP master data management, and a deep understanding of data governance best practices. **Location:** **_Ottawa, ON_** **We Take Care of Our People** Paid Time Off **I** RRSP with Employer Match **I** Health and Wellness Benefits **I** Learning and Development Opportunities **I** Competitive Pay **I** Referral Program **I** Recognition **I** Employee Stock Purchase Plan (https://curtisswright.com/investor-relations/overview/default.aspx) **I** Inclusive & Supportive Culture (https://careers.curtisswright.com/en/who-we-are/) * Your Challenge: **Process and Procedures** + Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure high-quality master data. + Drive continuous improvement in data quality, processes, and governance frameworks. + Oversee the creation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of master data in SAP (e.g., materials, vendors, customers, finance, BOMs, routings). + Establish controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. + Define and enforce data governance roles, responsibilities, and workflows across business units. + Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve data management efficiency. + Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and data security standards. + Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for data-related issues. **Team Management and Training** + Lead and develop a team responsible for SAP master data governance. + Serve as a key point of contact for data governance-related inquiries and escalations. + Develop and deliver training programs on master data governance policies and best practices. **Collaboration** + Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align master data strategy with overall business objectives. + Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, finance, Engineering, quality, and IT, to improve data governance practices. **What you Bring** + Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma coupled with 7-10 years relevant work experience. + Proven experience in managing a data governance team or function. + Strong understanding of SAP modules related to master data. + Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance standards. + Ability to optimize work processes. + Strong planning and aligning abilities. + Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. + Experience with SAP S/4HANA an asset. + Experience with AgilePLM or similar PLM an asset. + Experience with CRMs an asset. **Who We Are:** Curtiss-Wright creates a wide variety of embedded computer products designed for the rugged defense industry.
