**_What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
This role will be accountable for delivery and maintenance of the Maple SAP platform as part of SAP Center of Excellence including current, recently added and the expansion of new businesses. This manager will lead and manage the SAP Run operations for the Maple S/4 system that supports the Medical Canada business, ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing system functionality.

**_Responsibilities_**
+ Oversee incident, defect, problem, enhancements and change management processes for all SAP modules.
+ Collaborating with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, SCE, RTR, R&I, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting cross functional and downstream processes or applications.
+ Act as the primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and external support vendors including the run partners supporting the platform.
+ Work with the managed service partner to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met for system uptime, support responsiveness, and resolution times.
+ Closely work with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operations.
+ Work with the managed service partner to lead the resolution of the SRTs.
+ Monitor the order and delivery flow and work with the partners in case there are issues with the customer orders.
+ Responsible for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings in the Maple SAP S/4 platform.
+ Keeping up with emerging technologies and changes in business processes.
+ Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.
+ Influencing internal and external team members to leverage out of the box solutions and reducing customizations.
+ Monitor integrations with other systems (EDI, AIMS, SFDC etc.) and work with the stakeholders in case of issues/SRTs.
+ Completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions.
+ Manage documentation, user access controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
+ Provide leadership and mentoring to SAP functional and technical team members.
+ Attract, retain, and develop talent.
+ Maintain strategic relationships with all key business and IT stakeholders.
**_Qualifications_**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred.
+ 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ERP systems preferred, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
+ Proven experience in SAP Run/Support operations post-implementation (especially greenfield or major rollout).
+ Strong functional knowledge of multiple SAP modules (e.g., OTC, PTP, SCE ).
+ Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and operations
+ Experience with incident, problem, and change management in a production SAP environment.
+ Experience with SAP S/4 HANA technologies (BRF+, Fiori Apps etc.)
+ Experience with Digital Payment Add-on is preferred.
+ Working knowledge of interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, APIs) and integration with external systems.
+ Understanding of change management and transport management tools (Active Control).
+ Experience with job monitoring, batch management, and performance tuning in a production environment.
+ Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical capabilities and solutions.
+ Strong experience in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with our functional partners to deliver quality business solutions.
+ Strong leadership and people management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams both onshore and offshore.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
+ Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all organizational levels.
+ Experience in providing direction to the teams in managing and troubleshooting complex interfaces involving multiple systems (e.g. SalesForce, WMS, SAP MDG, EDI, ECM, etc.) and middleware applications.
**Anticipated salary range:** $123,400 - $176,300
