Nutrien is actively hiring a Manager, Sales to support the growth of our Proprietary Product business, including but not limited to specialty nutritionals, biostimulants, fertilizer coatings, plant growth regulators (PGRs), and adjuvants. This role is responsible for driving sales performance across the assigned region. The Manager will lead both ongoing and new business development efforts, strengthen brand presence, expand distribution in key markets, and implement new revenue-generating strategies. This position also plays a key role in strategic planning, new market launches, and contributes to the broader direction of the International Sales Team by aligning sales efforts with Nutrien’s global objectives.

 

What You Will Do:


•    Drive strategic sales growth in targeted regional markets.
•    Develop and execute regional growth plans aligned with corporate objectives.
•    Establish and manage a regional sales plan with measurable goals.
•    Identify and develop new customer accounts.
•    Collaborate with Agronomy, R&D, and customer teams to coordinate product demonstrations.
•    Serve as a key source of market intelligence at local, regional, and global levels.
•    Conduct field-level engagement through training, grower meetings, and product demos.
•    Provide regular sales activity reports and demand forecasts to support planning.
•    Collaborate with Commercial and Enabling teams across Nutrien and its equity partners.
•    Present comprehensive product solutions across all Nutrien Proprietary Product categories.
•    Travel up to 50% for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
•    Ensure compliance with Nutrien’s standards, industry regulations, and SH&E requirements.
•    Utilize digital tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in daily work.
•    Perform other related duties as required.


What You Will Bring:


•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in agriculture, business, marketing, or a related field.
•    Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales, product management, or customer experience.
•    In-depth knowledge of specialty crops and crop nutrition, including distribution and go-to-market strategies.
•    Strong network and understanding of global and regional agricultural markets, particularly in fertilizers and nutritional products.
•    Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
•    Proven ability to collaborate across functions to achieve shared goals.
•    Broad understanding of agricultural products, practices, and market dynamics.
•    Self-motivated, results-oriented, and accountable.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Effective time management and organizational abilities.
•    High ethical standards and integrity.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
•    Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
